GDPR Consent Policy

Effective Date: 01 June 2026

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and explains how {SITE} handles consent for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

Lawful bases for processing

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, advertising personalisation and analytics.
  • Legitimate interests — for site security, fraud prevention and operating the Site.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data to comply with law.
  • Contract — where you have requested a service (e.g. newsletter signup).

Consent for advertising and analytics

On your first visit, EU/UK/EEA users see a cookie-consent banner. We use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) and the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2.2 where applicable, so that Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager only personalise ads or read identifiers where you have given consent. Until consent is given, only strictly necessary cookies are set.

Google EU User Consent Policy

We comply with the Google EU User Consent Policy. This means that for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland we obtain consent before placing cookies or processing personal data for personalised advertising, and we disclose the use of cookies and the identities of any ad partners.

Your GDPR rights

  • Right of access to your personal data.
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Right to restriction of processing.
  • Right to data portability.
  • Right to object to processing (including direct marketing).
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
