Wattzupp respects the intellectual property rights of others and asks Site users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512).
Filing a DMCA notice
If you believe content on https://wattzupp.com infringes your copyright, send a written notice to info@wattzupp.com containing all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- The URL on our site where the allegedly infringing material is located.
- Your full name, address, telephone number and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice including all elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Send counter-notices to the same email address above.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances we will disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
False claims
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice or counter-notice can expose you to liability for damages and attorneys’ fees under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
