Wattzupp corrects mistakes openly. This Corrections Policy describes how to flag an error and how we handle it.
How to report a correction
Email info@wattzupp.com with: (1) the article URL, (2) the specific claim or sentence that you believe is incorrect, and (3) a primary source supporting your version.
Our response timeline
- We acknowledge correction requests within 2 business days.
- Verified corrections are typically published within 5 business days.
- If we disagree with the request, we explain why and may invite further discussion.
How we mark corrections
- Typos & formatting: silently fixed without note.
- Factual correction: the body of the post is updated and a clear “Correction: …” note is appended at the bottom showing what changed.
- Significant inaccuracy: we add a prominent correction notice at the top of the post and update the article’s modified-date timestamp.
- Retraction: where a piece cannot be corrected, we retract it and replace it with a brief explanation.
Transparency
Corrections never delete or hide the fact that an error existed — we explain what changed and why.
