Our credibility depends on honest, independent journalism. This Ethics Policy describes the standards every Wattzupp contributor follows.
Editorial independence
Advertisers, sponsors and affiliate partners do not have any influence over our editorial content, including which products we cover, how we score them, or the verdicts we publish.
Conflicts of interest
- Writers and editors disclose any personal or financial interest in a product they cover.
- Free trial accounts or short-term review units from vendors do not entitle the vendor to influence the review.
- Contributors do not accept cash, gifts or trips from companies they cover.
Sponsored content
- Any paid, sponsored or affiliate-driven content is clearly labelled.
- Sponsored content is not allowed to imply editorial endorsement; it is produced or reviewed under separate editorial guidelines.
- We reserve the right to refuse any advertising or sponsorship that conflicts with our values or AdSense / Ad Manager program policies.
Accuracy & corrections
We strive for accuracy and act quickly to correct errors — see our Corrections Policy and Fact Check Policy.
Plagiarism & AI use
- Plagiarism is prohibited. All quoted material is attributed; all paraphrased material is credited.
- Where AI tools are used to assist drafting, the final article is fact-checked and edited by a human.
- Original screenshots, photos and data tables are produced by us unless attributed.
Hate speech, harassment & sensitive content
We do not publish hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit material, dangerous misinformation or content that violates the Google Publisher Policies, Adsense Program Policies or Ad Manager policies.
