Wattzupp is committed to publishing factually accurate, verifiable content. This Fact Check Policy explains how we research, verify and update what we publish.
Our standards
- Every product or service we review is checked against the vendor’s official documentation, pricing page and where possible a hands-on test.
- Statistics, claims and quotes are linked to or attributed to a primary source where it exists.
- We distinguish between fact and opinion: editorial verdicts are clearly framed as opinion.
- Sponsored content and affiliate links are labelled per FTC guidance.
Verification process
- Writers gather primary sources (official documentation, vendor pages, government data, peer-reviewed studies).
- Editors cross-check facts before publishing.
- Pricing, features and availability are timestamped and flagged for periodic re-verification.
- Reader-flagged issues are reviewed and, if confirmed, corrected per our Corrections Policy.
Sources we use
- Official vendor websites, documentation and changelogs.
- Government, regulator and statistical-agency websites.
- Reputable industry publications and peer-reviewed research.
- First-hand testing in our own accounts where feasible.
